Is it really necessary to make announcements every morning for the past 4 days at 7AM to remind people to wash their hands... and then again at 7PM. Seriously people. I know it's a new strain of flu and everyone is in a uproar (especially in Japan)... but 7AM! On a Saturday and Sunday even!!! 2 times a day!!! Seriously people, seriously!
I took a lot more pictures, but these are the ones I am most comfortable putting up of my kids. (^^)v
Lined up waiting to get on the buses...
On a normal school day I would still be sleeping.
Oh the sacrifices. ^^
And yes that is my school in the background.
The big windows are the staff room.
This picture is taken from the back of the building.

Skipping right to Ueno park...
In line waiting for the final words of warning
from the teachers before they release them into the wild.
And into the zoo we go!
Ueno did have a panda in the zoo,
but it died this year... so sad.
(This picture is for mom.)
Look monkeys!
Cute!
Look a turkey!
In a zoo?
I guess it is called the America section. ^^
(I told my kids I wanted to eat it! hehehe)
Turkey... it's been so long. >_<
My kids in front of monkey mountain.
I felt there was something wrong with this situation.
What the heck is that monkey sitting on?
What ever it is...
I don't think they would find it
in their natural environment.
Cute penguins... cute kids in the background. ^^
I thought this too was an ironic picture.
The group of kids I went with was mostly boys,
so of course we had to go see the snakes, lizards and crocs.
I love big turtles.
So ancient.
CUTE!!!
Okay we have space food in America too.
You know normal things like ice cream, pizza, cake...
but TAKOYAKI!!! (Fried octopus?!?!)
Only in Japan!
I have to have some!
And last a picture is from the bus.
Look it's Tokyo Tower!
AKA "Tacy Tower"
My nickname from day one of the new school year.
So when we passed Tokyo Tower all the kids on the bus
were like... "It's TACY TOWER!!"
(^__________^;)

From Mom: Hello Tacy Tower! I don't remember you telling us that is what the kids nicknamed you. Cute. Thanks for posting the pictures of the zoo. If I'm recalling correctly Ueno Zoo got written up for not being good to their zoo mates. Thanks for taking the time to post the pictures. I think my favorite is the 4 little kids and the giant panda statue. Japanese kids are so cute. Love, MOM
Beer and chocolate. Yum. :)
